We are now hiring a Creative Lead to join Penneo and help evolve our brand's visual language. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence the look and feel of an industry leader and ensure our brand is consistently and cohesively expressed across every touchpoint.
As our Creative Lead, you are the creative engine of the brand. You'll be a one-person powerhouse, responsible for the end-to-end design of our most important visual touchpoints, from motion graphics to web design. You will work independently (but within the brand team) to turn strategic goals into compelling creative that drives our brand forward and delivers results across the funnel. This role reports to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager.
The position is full-time, based in Copenhagen.

Who you are:
- A true design all-rounder: You have at least 5 years of experience and a powerful portfolio showcasing your expertise across video/motion design AND web/digital design.
- A web design whiz: You have strong experience designing for the web and are proficient in modern design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- A solo powerhouse: You are a motivated self-starter who thrives on owning projects and seeing your creative vision through from concept to completion.
- A video & motion pro: You have expert-level skills in motion graphics and video editing (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- A skilled communicator: You can clearly articulate your design decisions and collaborate effectively with non-designers to get the best results.
How will this role progress?
It’s important to us to be as transparent as possible and to allow you to level expectations for the role. Therefore, we share our impact description in advance.
During the 1st month, you will:
- Dive into the brand. Get to know the Penneo brand, including its visual identity, brand guidelines, target audience and the long-term vision for Penneo.
- Meet the team. Get introduced to the marketing team and other key stakeholders and gain more practical day-to-day understanding for new ideas and ongoing projects.
Within 3 months, you will:
- Begin to identify strategic creative opportunities. You'll analyze recent marketing campaigns and audience feedback to pinpoint initial areas for improvement in visual consistency and storytelling.
- Take ownership of the brand. You'll have begun to shape and update the brand guidelines, and you'll be actively championing consistent brand expression across the organization.
Within 6 months, you will:
- Elevate the brand's visual identity. You will have developed and implemented a new visual system for a key marketing initiative, such as a major campaign or product launch.
- Become the go-to creative expert. You'll be independently managing the creative process for multiple projects, from initial concept to final delivery, and will have built strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the team.
- Drive results through design. You will have created or refreshed our core video assets, and these new assets will be actively used in our marketing channels.
Within 12 months, you will:
- Be a strategic creative partner. You will be proactively identifying and proposing new creative initiatives that align with business goals, and you will be a key player in shaping the brand's long-term visual strategy.
- Establish a scalable design system. You will have built a comprehensive set of templates and design assets that empower the wider team to produce high-quality, on-brand materials efficiently.
- Demonstrate clear impact. Your work will have demonstrably influenced key marketing and brand metrics, such as website engagement, conversion rates, or social media performance.
