We are looking for a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to join Penneo and lead the evolution of our brand strategy. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence the reputation of an industry leader and ensure our brand is consistently and cohesively expressed across every touchpoint.

This is a highly cross-functional role where you will work closely with teams across the Commercial organisation. You’ll be at the heart of our brand, translating market research into emotionally resonant storytelling and creative ideas. Your work will reinforce Penneo's reputation as a well-known and trusted industry leader within the Digital Identity space. 

You will be managing the brand team of a designer, content writer and partner marketing specialist, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, with a close collaboration with our CRO. 

The position is full-time, based in Copenhagen. 

What would be your responsibilities?
  • Shape our brand: Drive the evolution of our brand strategy, aligning it with business goals, market position, and audience needs.
  • Lead creative initiatives: Lead and co-create brand campaigns from concept to execution. You will also provide creative direction for other major initiatives, including product launches, partner marketing and events.
  • Craft compelling content: Take a hands-on role in creating core brand communication and thought leadership content. You are a storyteller and a great writer. 
  • Monitor and analyze: Monitor brand performance, evaluate the success of marketing efforts, and identify areas for improvement. You're data-driven and love using insights to make decisions.
  • Ensure consistency: Scale brand operations with AI where applicable by developing and maintaining toolkits, brand playbooks, and internal training resources to ensure consistent application of brand standards across the organisation.
  • Manage projects: Use your excellent project management skills to oversee complex brand campaigns.

You are:

  • Experienced: You have at least 5 years of experience in brand marketing. Experience in B2B SaaS, RegTech or the fast moving Digital Identity space is a plus. 
  • A strategic thinker: You have a high level of motivation, passion, and assertiveness. You can problem-solve and think both strategically and analytically.
  • A communicator: You are a natural storyteller and a strong writer.
  • A project manager: You have excellent project management capabilities, with experience overseeing complex brand campaigns.
  • Bilingual: You are a native Danish speaker and fluent in English.

How will this role progress?
It’s important to us to be as transparent as possible and to allow you to level expectations for the role. Therefore, we share our impact description in advance.

During the 1st month, you will:  
  • Dive into the brand. Get to know the Penneo brand, including its visual identity, brand guidelines, target audience and the long-term vision for Penneo.
  • Meet the team. Get introduced to the marketing team and other key stakeholders and gain more practical day-to-day understanding for new ideas and ongoing projects. 
Within 3 months, you will: 
  • Immerse yourself in the brand. You'll become a Penneo brand expert. You will review existing brand guidelines, visual assets, and marketing materials to understand our current aesthetic and brand voice.
  • Establish a foundation. Take ownership of brand & content strategy, and start creating relevant TOFU campaigns.
  • Kick off a first project. You'll start with a manageable, high-visibility project, such as thought leadership initiatives, like writing and crafting compelling copy with internal and external experts or a series of digital ads. 
Within 6 months, you will:  
  • Fully own creative projects end-to-end. You'll confidently manage the entire creative lifecycle for major marketing campaigns, from initial brief and ideation to final delivery and stakeholder feedback.
  • Build a scalable creative machine. You’ll have fully developed smart, scalable templates and systems, potentially integrating AI tools, that empower the entire marketing team to create on-brand materials efficiently.
Within 12 months, you will:  
  • Influence the creative vision. You'll not only execute projects but also contribute strategically to the long-term content direction of the Penneo brand, helping to define its future narrative.
  • Be a trusted leader. You will be the respected one-person powerhouse who delivers strategic and creative excellence, and your work will be directly tied to the success of Penneo’s brand and marketing initiatives.
