We’re looking for an Automation Specialist/GTM Engineer who will be the driving force behind automating the entire customer journey at Penneo, from first touch to renewal. In other words, you will be tasked with ensuring systems talk to each other seamlessly, enabling customers to move through Penneo with minimal manual touchpoints for them, as well as our employees.
Reporting directly to the COO, you’ll be in a great position to directly influence the future of the business with our Automation team by automating processes, optimizing data flows and reducing complexity.
Automate the entire customer journey from sign-up through adoption to off-boarding, aiming for zero manual touchpoints, both internally and for the customer.
Map, streamline and optimize workflows with an automation-first approach.
Build and maintain API-based automations connecting Salesforce, Clay, Zendesk, Slack and other systems.
Ensure clean and reliable data across all tools.
Stay on top of new emerging tech and technologies within the Automation domain and ensure best practices in Penneo.
Our next colleague brings hands-on automation experience and a passion for building scalable workflows. In addition, we imagine you have:
2+ years of experience in automation, revenue operations, growth operations, go-to-market engineering or a similar technical role.
Solid experience with automation tools like Zapier, n8n, Make or similar, as well as with up and coming go-to-market engineering tools like Clay, Lemlist etc.
Knowledge of major CRM systems and their architecture like Salesforce, Hubspot and similar.
Willingness to tackle and improve legacy systems with technical debt and lack of documentation, often requiring reverse engineering.
Proven systems thinking experience.
Strong understanding of APIs and data flows between systems.
Ability to read and understand code in Javascript and Typescript, and write queries in SQL. If you can write simple code, even better!
A structured approach to turning messy processes into smooth automated flows.
A proactive mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English.
